Earlier this year I purchased the Too Faced Natural Eyes neutral eye shadow collection after lusting after and wanting to invest in an eye shadow palette for some time. After the success of Urban Decay’s global phenomenon Naked palettes, eye shadow palettes have become seriously covetable, wish list items however something has always held me back from dropping my hard-earned cash on a set of multiple shadows. I was always worried that being a beginner I wouldn’t use it enough, or I’d only like one or two of the shades, or worse; I wouldn’t like any of them. Thankfully that is not the case with the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette.
Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Eye Shadow Palette
- Buildable coverage
- 9 pressed eyeshadows
- Neutral colors with high pigment
- Apply wet or dry
- Perfect for all eye colors
This is not a new product, and I could tell you that the pigmentation is amazing, the blend-ability is off the charts and the colors are perfectly natural and complimentary but I feel like that’s all been blogged about before. What I love about this palette and what drove me to write a post about it is how seamlessly it has been inserted into my make up collection, completely eradicating all my fears of buyer remorse.
I’ve gone from rarely wearing eye shadow or at best just a sweep of cream eye shadow across the lid to reaching for ol’ Natural Eyes time and time again. It’s just so darn useful.
Need a matte wash of color to even out eyelids and compliment a bright lip? Nudie and Cashmere Bunny have got this.
Just got a spray tan and want your eyes to be as golden as your limbs? Honey Pot is just the thing.
Silk Teddy is such a pretty, peachy, pink it goes with everything.
And the gorgeous, coppery Push-Up? Probably my favorite shade of eye shadow EVER.
If you’re a beginner wanting to dip your toe into the wonderful world of eye shadow palettes I can’t recommend this offering from Too Faced enough. It’s reasonably priced, high quality, wearable, and packaged beautifully. Not to mention it comes with an instruction leaflet so if you’re stuck for inspiration the handy step-by-step glamour guide provides how-to for three looks to get you started.
